Here we have a Series I eType Jaguar that has been brought to us for general maintenance and a thorough check over.
So far we have found a few issues and replaced the necessary parts to ensure this beautiful car is running and driving absolutely perfectly.
We have changed the front drop links, given her new wheel bearings all round, replaced various water pipes and break hoses, altered the breather system on the fuel tank to stop water ingress due to incorrect fitting. We have also done a full oil and filter change and corrected an oil pressure issue. Whilst we completed a break fluid change we had issues re-pressurising the rear brakes and further inspection revealed we had break fluid in the servo chamber which is never good, obviously we have had to completely rebuild the master cylinder with a repair kit to rectify the issue. To finish the job off properly we have also given her new bonnet springs, not that the client should need to get under there as often now.
